About Us

USS was founded in 2018, when two established companies within the South African health and safety sector partnered to bring this dynamic brand to market.

The combined knowledge and 22 years of expertise of all involved, meant that we could create an offering which is adaptable, and which can provide tailor-made solutions for all organisations who need health and safety compliance assistance.

USS prides itself in providing solutions that not only meet, but exceed the requirements set out by SAPS, local municipalities, department of health, SANBS, SAIOSH and other industry roleplayers for events or gatherings, whilst remaining an economical solution to suit our clients’ budgets. In addition, through major team growth and effective delegation, we have increased our capacity for anything from event liquor license applications, noise permits to COVID-19 compliance files, with far quicker turnaround times – a source of great pride to the company.

We have come a long way from functioning as a value-added backup service to our medical teams and events companies, to having dedicated departments within the safety compliance sector. We remain committed to increasing and streamlining our services, to broaden the scope of offerings to current and future clients.

A note from our CEO

United Safety Services was established to provide event organisers with a more personal service offering in the events permit marketplace. We understand how frustrating permit acquisition can be and we hope to make this process easier and less frustrating.
